First fish of the trip. We'd catch a few but not as many as I would have thought.
Most of our fish were abt this size.
This was on Bald Eagle. Normally this is the spot I like...I let Gary fish it since this was his first trip to this creek.
And, he did pretty well. As Mike would say it, he was fishing "junk" flies.
From the smile, I really dont think Gary cares what he caught the fish on...as long as it is material tied to a hook.
This was the big fish of the trip. In the 18 inch class. A really nice brown trout.
That fish, another almost as big that I got, was living against the bank in a deep cut.
Gary was getting his share and even though he only fished a day and a half, he did pretty well.
